Longtime Clarke Agency owner/broker Cathie Elliott had a good feeling about her new commercial listing — the Main Street office building recently vacated by Beth and Jerry Anderson’s Print Shop. So good, in fact, that she ended up buying it herself.
For the first time since Elliott took over the Clarke Agency 27 years ago, the real estate company is not located upstairs in the GS&L building. She’s excited about the move excited about being on Main Street, having a window frontage and having an office large enough to accommodate a conference room.
“I was showing my new listing to my daughter, Audrie, and she said I should buy it,” Elliott explained. “I said, no, no. I wasnt looking. But I tossed and turned thinking about it all night and the next morning I decided to go for it.”
The Clarke Agency is now located at 241 N. Main (phone number, 641-0511, remains the same). Elliott welcomes all to stop by to say hi and check out her new, cozy, welcoming space.
